This advertisement is for a full-time infant day post (0.83 full day) originating from a recently sanctioned post following a review of SNA allocation.

Desirable experience:
Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD/ADHD/ADD including intimate care & toileting needs necessary. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work off their own initiative as well as in a team capacity.
The successful candidate will also be required to participate in in-school training and continuous professional development outside of school hours.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school's Catholic ethos.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
Applicants who are deemed to be on the SNA Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the principal and class teacher(s) in a supportive and caring manner.
A FETAC Level 5 or 6 is desirable for this role.
