Substitutes needed immediately, Fixed-Term Contracts available from September 2024, Term Time only
Approx 22.5 – 25 hours per week (depending on route)
School: Saint Augustine’s Special School.
We cater for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
Bus Route Locations: Blackrock, Sandyford, Crumlin, Terenure, Ballybrack, Dundrum, Tallaght, Bray, Ballybrack, Greystones, Kilcoole, Blanchardstown, Lucan, Drimnagh, Rathmines, etc.
It may be possible for bus to collect you en-route to collect student, or meet you somewhere convenient if live near area. This can be discussed at interview stage.
Experience Required: Experience of working with children with Special Needs preferable, but not essential. Must be kind, caring, patient and work well with children.
Responsibilities: Accompany/supervise students with special needs on their journey to and from school.
Hours of work: Morning: Approx. 7.30am – 9.30am
Afternoons: Approx. 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Total hours per day: Approx 4.5
Salary: €13.40 per hour (Paid monthly)
Holiday hours paid at rate of 8% of hours worked.
Holiday pay payable at Christmas, Easter and at beginning of Summer holidays.
