St. Mary's Infant N.S is a co-educational school, catering for children from Junior Infants to First class. We are under the Patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Cork and Ross, Bishop Fintan Gavin. The school seeks to appoint a Principal teacher, beginning on the 27th August 2024.
The present teaching staff comprises of 4 Mainstream Class Teachers and 1 Special Education Teacher.

The roles and responsibilities for the post are set out in the four domains of Leadership and Management.

1. Leading and Learning.
2. Managing the Organisation.
3. Leading School Development.
4. Developing Leadership Capacity.

In addition, the following skills are desirable:
- Proven leadership skills, including policy development and implementation and prioritising planning and organising
- Organisational capabilities in managing school resources
- An in-dept knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and previous teaching experience at infant level
- Ability to manage and work collaboratively with all staff members and the Board of Management
- An ability to foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, the Board of Management and the wider school community
- Understanding and knowledge of Special Education Needs, inclusion and diversity in education
- An understanding and commitment to the school's Catholic ethos and the ability to support and promote school/parish links
