Eolas Breise:
This is a recently sanctioned 0.83 infant hours post (over 5 days - Daily hours to be clarified at interview).
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills Circular 0051/2019.
Candidates must be willing to uphold the Ethos of the school. The successful candidate must display a strong work ethic, flexibility, and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team. They must show a willingness to be involved in school activities. They must always respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and avail of further training as required.
A panel of suitable applicants may be set up from which future vacancies may be filled within a four month period from the date on which the Board of Management approves the successful candidate.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the Supplementary Panel must furnish a certified copy of completed Panel Form 1 (PF1) with their application.
Any canvassing will disqualify without exception.
The position is subject to continued NCSE allocation and SENO review.
Duties include providing care-needs support for pupils with special educational needs in accordance with 'The Role of the SNA' as set out in DES Circular 30/2014.
-Autism specific training is advantageous
