Headfort School Kells seeks a Primary School teacher to teach Irish from 3rd to 6th class teacher with the additional leadership role: Head of Learning.
This role is an exciting and rare opportunity to join the senior leadership team in Ireland’s only Prep day and boarding school.

Headfort is non-denominational day and boarding private school in Co. Meath for boys and girls aged 4-13. It is situated in stunning parkland just outside the ancient town of Kells. We provide an outstanding all-round education centered on individuality and academic excellence.

The Head of Teaching and Learning and Irish Teacher would be ideal for an experienced leader or an inspirational teacher that is seeking their first leadership post.
Candidates must be able to teach Irish from 3rd Class- 6th Class/ Senior 1.

Preferred and essential Criteria:
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in a Primary School (essential)
• Primary School Teaching Qualification (essential)
• HDip (Primary) or equivalent from an Irish University (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of the Irish Primary School system (essential)
• Experienced in the use of IT preferably Google Workspaces (essential)
• Flexible approach (essential)
