(This post is for 0.33 (10 hours 40 minutes) of an SNA position. The role will involve working the five days of the school week.
Candidates should have the minimum qualifications as set out by the Department of Education. The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014. NB A high standard of Gaeilge is required for this position.
The following is desirable:
• Child Protection training and certification.
• Experience of working with children with ASD and a variety of needs.
• Experience in managing challenging behaviour, non-verbal communication needs and promoting participation and integration in mainstream classes.
• A willingness to engage in relevant CPD
• A strong work ethic and flexibility.
• Be kind, patient and empathetic.
Applicants who are shortlisted, will be given a minimum of seven days’ notice, to attend for interview and should reply by email to accept or decline the interview. Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted. Appointment is subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, up to date Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
