The Board of Management of St. Mary's Senior School invites applicants for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a permanent position and the appointment will be made via open
competition.
St. Mary's Senior School caters for girls from 2nd-6th class and includes two co-educational special classes for children with Multiple Disabilities and Autism.
The Deputy Principal holds a vitally important role within the leadership team and will work with the Principal and AP2 Postholders to support and develop effective leadership within the school. The DP will also have a full-time teaching role.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities for this position relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as outlined in circular 0044/2019.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria: Fully registered under Route 1 (Primary) with the Teaching Council and have a minimum of 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
