St. Muredach's College are looking for a Special Needs Assistant who will support the learning of our students with Additional Educational Needs. This is a
newly sanctioned position after an exceptional review by the NCSE due
to the needs of our students.

Essential:
A QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Cert or equivalent.

Applicants should also demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in the area of Special Needs Support. They must be capable of working with and supporting a range of special educational needs - emotional, behavioural, physical, medical and personal care needs.

The successful candidate must also be a team player who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating an inclusive learning environment.
