Rathbarry National School seeks applications for the position of a standard (0.83) SNA post.
We are small rural school with two Mainstream Teachers and a shared Special Education Teacher.
The ideal candidate should have experience in supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream classroom.
Suitable skills and previous experience in caring for children with sensory, communication, emotional, behavioural and intimate care needs are desirable.
In addition the successful candidate would have a proven flexible approach, demonstrated a willingness to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills and a willingness to avail of further training.
Appointment is subject, but not limited to, satisfactory references, current Gárda vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
