Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This post is for 0.75 of an SNA position. The role will involve working the five days of the school week.
Candidates should have the minimum qualifications as set out by the Department of Education.
The successful candidate is expected to carry out duties as per circular 0030/2014.
The following experiences are desirable:
Child Protection training and certification.
Experience of working with children with a variety of needs including ASD.
Experience in managing challenging behaviour and promoting participation.
Appointment is subject to, but not limited to, satisfactory references, up to date Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
