Physics Teacher

UniHaven College is recruiting a Physics Teacher to teach the UniHaven College QQI Level 5 Specific Purpose Certificate in International Foundation Studies Programme. This programme is delivered in class in Maynooth.

UniHaven College is an Irish-founded QQI-approved international education provider and, as a subsidiary of Cambridge Education Group (UK), is a key part of its ONCAMPUS Ireland division.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Teacher who is looking to teach in international education.

Essential
• Degree qualified at NFQ level 8 minimum.
• Garda Vetting – will be arranged through UniHaven.
• Teaching experience – 3 years minimum (essential).
• Experience in teaching, assessment and learning support (essential).

Desirable
• Recognised TEFL certification (CELTA, Trinity TESOL or QQI Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL) - NFQ Level 7 (Special Purpose Award)).
• Postgraduate degree in a related discipline.
• Teaching qualification.
• Experience and expertise in programme development.

Skills
• Demonstrate cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
• A commitment to teamwork, and an ability to manage resources effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including native speaker fluency in English.
• Competence in the effective use of Information Communications Technologies (ICT).
• Planning and organisational skills and an ability to take initiative within the curriculum objectives.
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and fairness.
