Post 1 - Standard 0.83 SNA (Permanent) start date November 6th 2023.
Post 2 – Substitute Maternity – as advertised on Wednesday August 23rd 2023. Start date November 6th 2023.
The school is a co-educational vertical mainstream school with an enrolment of 222 students.
Please note that any candidate who applied for an advertised position in Spa N.S. between 23-08-23 to 07-09-23 need not re-apply as their application has been retained on file and will be included for shortlisting for both of the positions listed above.

Essential Requirements
Knowledge and experience from working with children with complex needs, challenging behaviours, intimate care needs, communication difficulties, down syndrome and autism in mainstream, special class and/or special school.
Ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Experience of supporting the completion of personal pupil plans and care plans and positive behaviour management approaches.
