St. John of God School is a special school that provides education for pupils aged 4-18 years. Pupils have moderate, severe or profound general learning disabilities. Some pupils have additional complex needs that may include ASD and/ or behaviours of concern. Duties are as outlined by Department of Education Circulars and include supporting students with behaviours of concern.
Experience working across the range of special educational needs as described and experience supporting pupils who present with challenging behaviours would be advantageous.
