The post is a post in the mainstream classroom, but is subject to change at the determination of the principal. Applicants must have access to travel.

Ballysteen N.S. is a Catholic school. The successful candidate must hold the appropriate Certificate to teach Catholic Religious Education. Ballysteen N.S. is seeking to appoint a team player who is willing to contribute to the overall development of Ballysteen N.S.

The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable:
• Probation desirable but not required
• Experience of teaching in a multi-grade classroom



Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:

• Aistear, IEPs, Standardised Testing, Guided Reading, Team-Teaching in Literacy and Numeracy.
• Interests/skills/experience in music is advantageous.

Three copies of the application form should be submitted.
