As Scoil Chrónáin Naofa is a Catholic School, applicants for this position must have a certificate to teach Religious Education.
This certificate and proof of Teaching Council registration must be enclosed/attached with your standard Application form for Principalship.
All previous applicants are invited to re-apply.

In addition the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school.
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development.
Evidential experience of managing people (in any setting).
Proven ability to work as a member of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in prioritising, planning and organising workload.
Proven Leadership skills.
Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school-based initiatives.
Previous experience in policy formulation and implementation.

Envelopes must be clearly marked 'Principal Teacher Application'.

A minimum of 3 eligible applications are required for this competition to proceed.
