Apart from a passion for teaching and learning - and for striving for excellence with all students, the successful candidate is expected to involve him/herself in co- and extra-curricular activities in the school. No contract can be entered into without proof of full Garda clearance and completion of Child Safe-guarding eLearning modules. Teaching Council documentation should clearly state registered subjects for teaching. Ursuline College is a faith school in the Catholic tradition and is a member of the Le Cheile Schools Trust. It's ethos is governed by the Philosophy of Ursuline Schools' document and the Le Cheile Charter. The successful candidate is expected to support and promote the school's ethos at all times.
