This position arises from a staff member taking a career break for the 2023/2024 school year.

This position is for a mainstream class teacher initially. Duties are subject to change and if successful, you may be allocated a support teacher role or special class teacher role.

Essential:
Teaching Council Registration, Primary School Teaching Qualification, Recognised Certificate to Teach Religious Education, Garda Vetting and OHS Requirements
Desirable:
Probation
Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development
High standard of Irish
Evidence of significant experience and expertise in the areas of sport or music and evidence of developing one of these areas with primary age children
Advantageous:
Experience of teaching in a special class for children with autism or evidence of willingness and ability to do so.
