St Laurence’s NS is a welcoming and vibrant school under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin. The school is held in high regard by the local community and has strong links with local sporting and community groups.

This position will involve working closely with the Principal, Class Teachers and Special Education Teachers in support of children with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate would ideally have good communication skills and evidence of CPD in the area of Special Education. Candidates are required to have qualifications as per Department of Education and Skills. A FETAC level 5 or 6 is desirable for this role. Duties are as set out in Department of Education circulars. All applicants must be willing to avail of further training.
