There are seven vacancies in the school for Supply Panel 2023/24. There are also vacancies for one Career Break and two Maternity Leaves. However, one application is sufficient for either/all positions. Please indicate your preference on your letter of application. St Peter's NS Dromiskin has been designated by the Department of Education as the base school for a Primary Teacher Supply Panel.
The purpose of the Teacher Supply Panel is to provide substitution cover to a cluster of seventeen designated primary schools in the Dundalk South Area. These schools are in rural and urban parishes, the education is through the medium of English and one Gaelscoil, all are under the patronage of Armagh Diocese.
The teachers on the Teacher Supply Panel will be appointed to the staff of St Peter's NS on a fixed term contract for the school year 2023/24. Applicants for these posts must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education and appointments will be subject to current Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
This is a wonderful opportunity to build up experience in all teaching roles and to form strong professional networks in the seventeen schools in the Dundalk South Area.
The Teacher Supply panel will operate in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in Circular 0059/2019. For further information in relation to this, please refer to Circular 59/2019 or contact the principal of the base school, St Peter's NS.
Travel expenses are payable as per Circular 0009/2015.
