There are five fixed term contracts available to cover positions arising from two career breaks, one job share, one HSCL teacher replacement and one temporary EAL position. Please note this EAL position is provisionally sanctioned until October 31st 2023 and is dependent on enrolment on September 30th 2023.
Additionally there is a maternity leave position, a parental leave position and a parental leave share (September to June) position available.
Appointment will be subject to Current Garda Vetting requirements, Teaching Council Registration, Occupational Health Screening and completion of the online Tusla Child Safeguarding training. Scoil Mhuire gan Smál is a Catholic school and a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is required.
The successful candidates must be ready to begin with a staff training day on Wednesday August 30th 2023, with children returning on Thursday August 31st 2023.
