Christ The King BNS is a mainstream school with 2 special classes. We are a vibrant school and we seek enthusiastic and motivated teachers to work with a highly dedicated and supportive staff in line with our school mission, values and to help our school community grow and succeed.
Collaborative teaching and working is fundamental to CTK BNS. All applications must be flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team. All applications need to have excellent planning and organisation skills. Experience and an understanding of DEIS and Special Educational Needs are beneficial.
Two positions are for teachers in mainstream.
The third position is for a teacher our Le Chéile ASD class for a 2 year period and the successful teacher will then return to work in a mainstream class.This class has 6 students and three SNA's.
The successful applicant will need to be a dynamic and motivated teacher and flexible in their day to day running of the classrooom. Good planning, organisation skills essential and adaptable to change.
NCSE training for working in an ASD class will be provided. The ability to work as a team member is a necessity in order to facilitate successful integration.
Experience of teaching with SEN and children with autism would be of benefit.
Evidence of current teaching council registration and garda vetting must be provided.
