The Board of Management of Finglas Parochial National School seeks to appoint a fixed-term SNA on a job-sharing basis for the 2023 - 2024 academic year. The role of the SNA is as set out in Section 5 of DES Circular 30/2014.

Finglas Parochial National School is a small, vibrant mainstream school with inclusive practice at its heart. The ideal person to fill this role will be someone who is excited at the prospect of working with our wonderful children, is happy to work cohesively as part of a small and dynamic team, and is passionate about their work. A special interest in working with children with an Autism diagnosis and/or emotional and behavioural needs is necessary for this role.

Our team values kindness, compassion, equality of access to education, and an integrity that forms the basis of all that we do in the school. Experience in the role of SNA is not essential, however a recognised qualification in this area is required. We currently have a staff of twelve and, if appointed, you would be the fourth SNA on our team.
