An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Sonas Special Junior Primary School, Roll number 20162O, is under the patronage of the Brothers of Charity. The school provides high quality early intervention education - drawing on a range of evidence based interventions - to Autistic children with complex needs aged 3 to 6 years old. The qualifications and conditions of the service for these positions are as specified by the Department of Education and Skills. Duties include tending to the care needs of the children (changing nappies, feeding etc.) and supporting children with challenging behaviours.
These positions are for three infant day SNA posts, equivalent to 0.83 a full time post.
