The Board of Management of Ardee Community School invites applications for a teacher of Science (with the qualification and Teaching Council recognition to teach any of the following subjects: PE/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Maths/Home Economics) which may arise for the 2023/2024 academic year.


These posts are subject to the sanction of the Department of Education and to the post not being required for the 2023 redeployment process. A Garda vetting disclosure and Teaching Council registration will be required for appointment.

Application forms are available from the school's website, www.ardeecommunityschool.ie or by emailing recruitment@ardeecs.ie and must be returned by email only to recruitment@ardeecs.ie. Applications will be accepted on the school application form only. Strictly no other documentation.

Closing date is 5pm on Wednesday 12th April 2023.
Interviews will take place the week beginning 19th April.
Short listing may apply. Canvassing will disqualify.
