An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Drumphea N.S. invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of a permanent Special Needs Assistant (0.83 - infant day).
Candidates are required to have minimum qualifications as per DES circular 0051/2019.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school and must be available to complete Croke Park Hours throughout the school year.
Experience of and/or, training in working with children with A.S.D, physical needs, hearing impairments, medical care and toileting needs is required.
A background in well being and mindfulness is a bonus.
