Scoil Cholmcille Clouna invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of part-time Special Needs Assistant (0.5 post).

Candidates will be required to work the hours over a 5 day week.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a classroom/school environment. Experience of working with ASD, and medical care is desirable.

The ideal candidate must be positive, flexible and responsive to the individual needs of the children and the school.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, who is able to work on their own initiative, is a good team player, and someone who is willing to get involved in events and activities relating to our school.

Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.

Appointment is subject to the current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.

The positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.

Interviews will take place during the Easter Break on the 4th of April.
