We are looking for one Substitute Special Class Teacher to join our team from 17 of April until we break for the summer. Initial duties in a special class for Autistic children with a general learning disability. While not essential, experience and qualifications in special education and Autism as well as the use of PECS, LAMH and the the TEACCH approach are desirable.

We are also looking for teachers to fill other substitute positions across the school. St. Joseph's Special School has 12 classes currently, made up of three Primary classes for students with MGLD, five Post Primary classes for students with Mild GLD and four classes specifically for Autistic students with a range a GLD. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of each students and we offer access to the primary curriculum, Junior Cycle and LCA.
