We are seeking a teacher of History and Mathematics for 22 hours per week from Monday 17th April 2023 to Monday 18th December 2023. We are a growing school. Given this, a position may be available at the end of this contract for the successful candidate to continue in the school.

Whilst we are seeking one person to teach both History and Mathematics, we do encourage teachers who have one of these subjects to apply as we may be able to accommodate different subject combinations.

Candidates should submit:

• Covering letter outlining the reasons you would like to teach at the Ursuline Secondary School.
• A copy of your CV
• Letter from the teaching council stating the subjects you are registered to teach
• Copy of certificates, diplomas, degrees
• Referees (Written)
• Referees (name, role, contact no.)

The position can only be filled pending approval from the Director of Redeployment, Department of Education & Skills and the Board of Management of the Ursuline Secondary School.

Any appointment will be subject to registration with the Teaching Council and Garda vetting. In compliance with DES regulations, short-listing may apply. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted. All appointments are subject to the approval of The Director of Redeployment and to sanction by the DES.
