This is an advertisement for special class teaching posts in both our Kilbarrack and Swords locations. Foxfield is a special school under the patronage of St. Michael's House who caters for pupils from the ages of 4 - 18 who have a dual-diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and a Global Developmental Delay.

During this academic year, Foxfield Special School will be opening a 4-classroom satellite school in Swords, Co. Dublin. As this will be a phased opening, it is planned that new teachers will be given the opportunity to engage in a period of training/observation in our current school location in Kilbarrack. We are looking for teachers who have a willingness to learn and an interest in educating pupils with autism. We are fortunate to have a very helpful and welcoming team of teachers and SNAs at Foxfield who work collaboratively towards supporting our pupils under the guidance of school management and an on-site Behaviour Analyst.

We have secondary-topped status which means post-primary teachers are eligible to work here full-time in a permanent capacity, as well as primary and Montessori qualified teachers. We are a Droichead School that follows the Primary School Calendar and hours. We currently have 2 Permanent and 2 Fixed-Term teaching posts.
