Additional Information:

Libermann Spiritan School, Templeogue (LSST) is a special school under the trusteeship of the Spiritan Education Trust. LSST will welcome autistic students from the ages of 4 - 18 who may also have a diagnosis of complex needs.

24 students will be enrolled across four classes in January 2023 on a phased basis. There will be a period of training for all staff from date of commencement until the official opening of the school.

Essential requirements:
QQI level 5 for Special Needs Assistants
Experience from working in a mainstream school, special class or special school.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and interest in working in an enthusiastic, dynamic and vibrant, team environment
Demonstrated interest in supporting the educational needs of autistic students with complex needs.

Desirable
Experience of supporting the completion of personal pupil plans and care plans
Good understanding of the role of the SNA
Any additional and relevant continuous professional development undertaken or an identified interest in areas of CPD you would like to undertake in the future

We are currently hiring for 8 permanent positions and will set up a panel for substitution work from suitable and interested applicants.

Provision of certified copies of qualifications
Completion of Garda vetting and TUSLA child protection training
