An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Fixed Term MCT position in Kilcummin N.S. is to cover a Job-Share position (which has been arranged internally) for the 2022/2023 school year. The
position is a full-time Mainstream Class position initially, but this may be subject to change. Previous applicants must re-apply.
Applicants must have a certificate to teach RE. Understanding and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school is also essential. The filling of these posts are subject to the posts not being required for the main panel redeployment process
The following are advantageous:
Knowledge of the SEN model, ICT, in particular Assistive Technology, and team teaching.
Knowledge of evidence-based interventions, assessment and planning.
A willingness to promote and participate in the life and extra-curricular activities of the school, particularly well being, Green Schools, sport, Active Schools, JEP, fundraising, and a commitment and understanding of rural communities.
