Applications are invited to the post of Teaching Principal in Kilnamona N.S., Kilnamona, Ennis Co. Clare. This vibrant and inclusive school has a Catholic ethos and is under the patronage of the Catholic Diocese of Killaloe. The successful candidate must have a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education and a commitment to promoting the Catholic Ethos.

The roles and responsibilities of this post must relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.

1. Leading teaching and learning
2. Managing the organisation
3. Leading school development
4. Developing leadership capacity

Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualification and Teaching Council registration.

Applicants should demonstrate :
An understanding of and commitment to the Catholic Ethos.
A comprehensive understanding of leadership, management and administrationin a primary school context.
Have proven interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, an ability to implement school based initiatives, manage school teams and lead the school community.
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development.

Candidates called for interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications and Teaching Council registration.
