St Brigid's is a Mixed Primary School in Junior and Senior Infants and is a girls only school from 1st to 6th inclusive, under the patronage of the Catholic Diocese of Cloyne. The school currently has 4 Special classes for pupils with a diagnosis of Autism and a 5th Special Class has been sanctioned by the Department of Education for September 2022.
Applicants should demonstrate:
A commitment to supporting the Catholic Ethos of the school.
The successful candidate must have a recognised qualification to teach Religious Education in a Catholic primary school (should be enclosed with application)
A good understanding of Leadership, Management and Administration in a primary school context.
Interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
An ability to implement school-based initiatives, manage school teams and lead the school community.
