Scoil Mhuire is a co-educational DEIS Band 2 Catholic school under the patronage of the Diocese of Kerry. There are 16 mainstream classes and 2 Special classes - Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) & Multiple Disabilities (MD).
It is expected that applicants will have a commitment to the Catholic ethos.

- Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of
innovative school based initiatives
- Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
- Knowledge and capacity to successfully lead and administer a school
- Experience in prioritising planning and organising work load
- Previous experience in policy development
