All appointments are subject to the sanction and approval of the Department of Education and Skills and the post not being required for the redeployment process.

Previous teaching experience is essential within a secondary school environment.
Classes at junior and senior level.

Previous teaching experience in an EAL and learning support learning environment is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to deliver classes within the schools EAL and Learning support (History & English) curriculum programmes. The successful candidate will be required to collaborate with the EAL and learning support team in the assessment, development and delivery of EAL and Learning support (History & English) student programmes over the course of the academic year.

It would be an advantage to have qualifications/experience in Technology- ICT
Short-listing is likely to be part of the selection process.

An ability to support the extra-curricular programme of the school would be an advantage.

Registration by the Teaching Council will be required for appointment.

Garda Vetting Disclosure will be required for appointment.
