Cheeverstown School provides education and care to students with severe and profound learning disabilities.
We currently have 2 Bus Escort vacancies for morning and afternoon bus services within the catchment area.
Employment for each position is on a part time basis during school term time only, with an approximate total of 3.5 hours per day for each position.
As a Bus Escort, you will be expected to assist in the safe and timely transport of students to and from school for both the morning and afternoon run. Experience working with children with additional needs is preferable, but not necessary. Relevant training will be provided. Successful applicants must complete a Garda Vetting Application Form.
Reliability, excellent time keeping and fluency in spoken and written English are considered essential.
The hourly rate of pay is in line with the Department of Education and Skills guidelines for school bus escorts.
