It is preferable that the candidate will be qualified to teach at least one other curricular subject.
The position is available from January to June, and will be re-advertised in April for the 2022/23 academic year. Hours will be negotiated depending on other subjects that the candidate is qualified to teach. Teaching of other subjects new to the candidate may be required. Experience in the teaching of short courses and Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.

Firhouse Educate Together Secondary School opened in August 2018 as a restorative, equality-based second-level school. Applications are invited from teachers who understand the Educate Together ethos and who would like to be involved in developing a model of inclusive, diverse and equality-based education in Firhouse.
