The Board of Management of Fenor National School invites applications for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a permanent post commencing on the 1st of November 2021. Fenor NS is a mainstream school with two special classes and 170 pupils.
The Deputy Principal will work in collaboration with the Principal and Assistant Principals to ensure the effective management of our school.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.
1. Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
A recognised qualification to teach Religious Education is an essential requirement.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria:
Fully registered under Route 1 (Primary) with the Teaching Council, have five years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary school in the Republic of Ireland.
