The Board of Management of Scoil Phádraig invites applications for the position of Teaching Deputy Principal. This is a permanent post commencing on the 1st of November 2021.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019
1. Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership capacity
A recognised qualification to teach Religious Education in Catholic Schools is an essential requirement.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria in Circular 44/2019: Fully registered under Route 1 (Primary) with the Teaching Council and have 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary school within the Republic of Ireland.
The DP will be expected to deputise for the Principal when necessary at any school related meetings and events.
