Applications are invited for the position of Special Needs Assistant (SNA) in Colaiste Muire, Cobh
1. This is a full-time vacancy commencing on Aug 26th 2021. The position can only be filled in accordance with DES regulations and pending approval of the Department of Education & Skills and the Board of Management of Colaiste Muire.
2. The minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is: A QQI level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Cert or equivalent.
3. Relevant experience of post-primary school with students with a variety of care needs is desirable. Experience of working in a SNA team is also desirable.
4. Please submit a letter of application, completed Panel Form, if available, and a CV by 5pm on 9th August 2021 to cmcobh@gmail.com. The CV should include qualifications, relevant experience in post-primary setting and two references. All applicants must provide up to date Garda Vetting.
5. Applications from SNAs on SNA panel must have the panel form clearly attached and please indicate this on your letter of application.

Shortlisting may apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted. Canvassing will disqualify.
