Are you interested in creating resources for students and teachers in post primary schools for Religious Education, Catechetics and Well Being?
Veritas, is recruiting for the position of Post Primary Religious Education Lead.
The successful candidate will report to the Manager of the company’s Religious Education Department and will be responsible for:
• The preparation and publication of religious education, wellbeing and catechetical materials for post-primary schools in both written and digital format.
• The organisation and oversight of piloting and other evaluative processes for Post-Primary school materials.
• The provision of training and in-service for post primary teachers.
• The development of an effective network of contacts in both informal and formal contexts, within the general education sector and especially the Catholic Education sector in Ireland.
• Attendance at events such as, but not limited to:
• Diocesan Post-Primary Religious Education in-services.
• Meetings of national bodies such as the National Association of Post-Primary Diocesan Advisors (NAPPDA).
• Meetings and conferences of Educational Trust Bodies, e.g. CEIST, Le Cheile, ERST.
• The position requires that the successful candidate has have excellent writing, editorial, organisational, team building and presentation kills.
