Chemistry, Math, Physics, Applied Math, Lecturers

Dublin International Foundation College (DIFC), based on the Griffith College Dublin campus, runs foundation programmes that allow international students to progress to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ireland and the UK.

We are looking for permanent and part-time Chemistry, Maths, and Physics Lecturers to teach on the International Foundation Year programme, which offers streams in Business, Science and Engineering. Additionally, there are programme management and lead lecturer roles available. We have two intakes: one in September which runs until early June, and one in January, which finishes in July. Details of the role:
• A combination of lectures and tutorials
• Classes are a combination of face to face and online learning, and candidates may be required to work from home
• Approximately first-year undergraduate standard
• Involves setting and grading coursework and exams (both formative and summative)
• Involves working with students of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Teaching takes place between 08.00 and 17.00, Monday to Friday


Requirements: • Minimum of Honours Degree in Chemistry, Maths, or Physics (degrees with high content will also be considered)
• Minimum of two years teaching experience
• Experience of working with international students
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
