It is expected that applicants will have a commitment to the ethos of this school.

Applicants for this post must have a Certificate in Religious Education.

Applicants should have an in-depth knowledge of the Curriculum and a broad range of teaching experience.

Applicants should have excellent people management, leadership and communication skills, a proven ability to implement school based initiatives and policies and a commitment to continuous professional development.

A clear detailed vision statement outlining your high-level goals for the future development of all aspects of school life in St Kilians JNS is required. Please outline the strategies you would use to achieve your vision for the school. Please include this under the Personal Statement section of the Standard Application Form for Principals and Deputy Principals - Open Competition.

Appointment will be subject to current vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.

A minimum of three eligible applications must be received in order for the competition to proceed.

In the school year 2021/22 there will be 11 mainstream teachers. Currently we have 4 full-time support teachers, 1 part-time support teacher, an Administrative Principal and 9 Special Needs Assistants.
