This permanent post is for an additional 0.5 SNA allocation which has been granted to the school(16 hours per week).
The following are desirable:
-experience of working with pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties
-experience of working with pupils with A.S.D.
-experience of implementing alternative communication methods
-experience working with pupils who have sensory processing difficulties
-have experience assisting pupils with equine assisted therapy
-experience of the TEACCH and ABC approaches to intervention
-experience of working with pupils with neuro developmental disorders
-experience of working with pupils with toileting and hygiene needs
-evidence of CPD in the area of Special Education
-willingness to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and of the school
-suitability to the school and the needs of the pupils in the school

Relevant qualifications essential.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.

Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form(PF1) with their application.
