Temple Carrig School is a co-educational secondary school under Church of Ireland patronage which opened in 2014 in Greystones, Co Wicklow.

Applications are now invited for teaching positions which may arise in a permanent, temporary wholetime or part-time capacity in a wide range of subjects, starting in August 2021. Typically we have been able to combine subjects so that newly-appointed teachers are able to build their hours up to a level that provides them a reasonably full-time contract.

Temple Carrig is still quite a new school so these positions represent a unique opportunity for teachers to establish themselves in the school as it grows, with genuine chances of achieving a long-term career and better than usual promotional prospects. It is also an especially vibrant and attractive place in which to teach – successful candidates will very much enjoy being part of our energetic, positive and enthusiastic staff team.

Short-listing will apply and we regret that due to the expected high volume of applications it will not be possible to reply to unsuccessful candidates.

All positions will be subject to the sanction and conditions of the Department of Education & Skills and, in particular, no appointments will be made until permission has been received from the Director of Redeployment.
