Primary Care Needs May include:
-Assistance with moving and lifting of children, operation of hoists and equipment
-Assistance with toileting and General Hygiene
-Enabling curriculum access for pupils with physical disabilities or sensory needs and those with significant, and identified social and emotional difficulties
-Assist teachers to support children with social and emotional behavioural needs
-Administration of Medicine
-Assistance with Mobility and Orientation
-Assist teachers to provide supervision in the class, playground and school grounds
-Non-nursing care needs associated with specific medical conditions
-Care needs requiring frequent interventions including withdrawal of a pupil from a classroom when essential

This is a permanent position which is 0.83 of a full post.

An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
