This post is shared between CRC School, Clontarf (3 days) and Scoil Mochua, Clondalkin (2 days). These schools are special schools for pupils with a physical disability and multiple disability with a physical disability aged 3 - 18 years under the patronage of the CRC.The post being advertised is a specialist Music post - suitable candidates should have a good working knowledge of the Primary School Music Curriculum encompassing the strands of Listening and Responding, Performing and Composing. A knowledge of the Junior Cycle Music Curriculum is also required as this programme is undertaken in both schools with post primary pupils. Suitable candidates should demonstrate excellent Music skills but principally the ability to sing in tune at a pitch suitable for primary school pupils. The ability to play an accompanying instrument is desirable but not essential.
Appointment is subject to reference checking, garda vetting and OHS medical assessment.
