An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Kilmurry NS is seeking to appoint a bus escort. They will be required to accompany pupil/pupils on the specialised bus transport from the pupil’s homes to and from school. The bus escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons throughout the school year and meet the bus at a suitable collection point. The bus escort is responsible for the safety of their appointed pupil/s on board the bus and will be required to assist them getting on and off the bus. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with parents and school staff in a professional way. They will need to communicate regarding pick-ups/drop offs, illnesses, traffic, delays, etc.

Appointment is subject to Garda Vetting and appropriate character references.
