Scoil Bhríde N.S. New Inn has a bus escort vacancy for 2020-21 school year. The escort will accompany a pupil on taxi/bus transport from their home (near Portumna) to and from school.
The escort is required approximately 2 hours 40 minutes per day, five days a week. The escort must be available in the mornings and afternoons and must meet the bus at the child's house. The escort must have their own transport to and from the pick up and drop off point agreed with the bus contractor.
The escort is responsible for the safety of the child on board the bus/taxi and will be required to provide pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the child getting on and off the bus, securing appropriate seat belts etc.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting and appropriate character references.
