St. Peters Special School, Rathgar seeks to appoint in a permanent capacity a special class teacher with provisional start date of 31st August 2020. St. Peter's School follows the national school calendar with instruction starting at 9.00am until 2.40pm each day.
St. Peter’s School caters for young people with Severe Emotional Behavioural Disturbance from four to eighteen years. St. Peter’s School follows both the national primary curriculum and post primary Junior Cycle Programme at level 2 and 3. The position is open to suitably qualified secondary trained teacher’s and primary teacher who meet the criteria.
The suitable candidate should ideally have experience and competency in the delivery of maths up to Junior Cycle level. The ability to teach and develop a wide variety of subjects and short courses at Junior Cycle level would an advantage.
Knowledge and experience of working would children with ADHD and ASD is desirable.
Appointment will be subject to vetting requirements and Occupation Health Screening.
St. Peter’s School is a Catholic school under the Patronage of the Arch Diocese of Dublin and the trusteeship of the St. John of God Order.
